Who this covers
This policy covers Select Roofing (“we”, “us”) and this website. We are a residential, commercial and multifamily roofing and full-exteriors contractor working across Texas.
What we collect
Only what you type, plus ordinary site measurement. When you request an inspection we collect your name, phone number, city, email address if you give us one, and any notes you write, along with the page you sent it from. If you call, text or use the chat box on this site we keep the phone number and the content of that conversation. This site also counts page views for its own reporting — the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your screen size and browser language, and a random visit id we store in your browser so two views from the same visit are not counted as two people. Our web host records ordinary server logs, including IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the site.
What we do NOT do
We do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, the Meta pixel, session recording, or any third-party tracker on this site. We do not buy or sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not follow you across other websites. There is no cookie consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to — the site sets no tracking cookies and loads no advertising tag.
Why we use it
To reply to you, schedule and carry out your free inspection, prepare and discuss your written estimate, do the work, and keep records of jobs we have quoted or completed. The page-view count is used to see which pages are worth keeping. Nothing more.
Photos you send us
If you text us photos of your roof, we use them to understand the job and prepare an estimate. We will not publish a photo of your property in our gallery, on social media, or in any advertising without asking you first. If you would like a photo deleted, tell us and we will delete it.
Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number, you agree we may call and text you about your request and your appointment — including by automated dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial (AI) voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile number, your opt-in, and any text-message consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
How long we keep it
Inspection requests, chat conversations and job records are kept for as long as we may need them for the work, our accounts, and our records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text (877) 997-4464. We will need to confirm who you are before we act on the request. You can also clear this site’s stored visit id at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this site.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this site does not track visitors across websites in the first place, we take no separate action when we receive one.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
